Community Notice: Sex Offenders Notification

The Page Police Department is notifying the public of two Level 2 sex offenders who have recently moved to Page. Level 2 means there is an intermediate risk to reoffend.

“This notification is not intended to increase fear, rather it is our belief that an informed community is a safer community” the Page Police Department notice states. “The individual who appears on this notification has been convicted of a sex offense which triggers our duty to notify the community.”

The individuals in this notification are “not being sought by the Page Police Department at this time.”

Clinton Davenport is 52 years old, is 6’3”, weighs 290 pounds, and has brown hair and green eyes. He has registered his place of residence with the Page Police Department as being in the 100 block of Aero Avenue. Davenport was convicted of one count of molestation of a child and indecent exposure in 2000.

Bernard Nelson is 47 years old, is 5’5”, weighs 180 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He has registered his place of residence with the Page Police Department as being on West Jerome Street. Nelson was convicted of aggravated sexual assault on a child.

Sex offender notifications are required by Arizona law. “Notification must be made when certain sex offenders move to the community, are released from prison, except under an interstate compact, or released from the county jail back into the community.”

Abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass sex offenders is against the law, and will not be tolerated by the Page Police Department.
