The Page Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect that was involved in an armed robbery over the weekend.

Just before 9pm on Sunday, June 23, an unknown man entered the Dollar General, located on North Navajo Drive, used the restroom, then on his way toward the front of the store, demanded the clerk give him the money in the cash register.

According to the Page Police Department, the suspect brandished a firearm during the incident. According to sources at the Page Police Department, due to the noble actions of the clerk, the suspect was unable to obtain the money, but was able to get the clerk’s cell phone.

The suspect has been described as being tall and slender, Native American, with “bulging eyes”. He was wearing a black and grey pullover ‘hoodie’ sweater, black jogging pants, and possibly no shoes. He was last seen walking southbound on North Navajo Drive after the incident.

If you have any information, contact the Page Police Department at 928-645-2463, Silent Witness at 928-774-6111, or email at tips@pageaz.gov.

There is a $500 reward being offered for any information that leads to the arrest of the suspect.
