Ragu Recalls Sauces, May Contain Pieces Of Plastic

Some Ragu Pasta sauces are being recalled due to possible contamination of plastic fragments. The voluntary recall was announced by food company Mizkan America Inc., Saturday. The product was distributed nationally. According to the press release, the company believes the majority of the product is still within their possession.
At this time, the company has not received any reports of consumer injuries or complaints.
The products being recalled are:

The sauces were produced between June 4-8. Consumers who have purchased the recalled sauces are being asked to call Mizkan America’s Customer Service Hotline at 800-328-7248 for a replacement.
