Police: Possible Hate Crime After Swastikas Found At Flagstaff Synagogue

The Flagstaff Police Department is investigating a possible hate crime after the Chabad of Flagstaff Synagogue was found burglarized and damaged. The incident occurred some time between March 22 and March 25.

Officers found damage to multiple rooms, including what appear to be swastikas carved into the walls. Officers also found several cans of black paint that were smashed and dumped onto the floor. The paint was used to draw what appear to be swastikas on the windows. Several power tools were also damaged during the incident.

Investigators have stated that fingerprints and biological evidence has been collected from the scene for further investigation.
