The USDA announced on Saturday, February 23, 2019, that Bellisio Foods is recalling over 170,000 pounds of Boston Market Home Style Meals Boneless Pork Rib Shaped Patty with BBQ Sauce and Mashed Potatoes.

The recall is due to a concern that products may be contaminated with pieces of glass or hard plastic.

The affected products bear establishment number “EST. 18297” on the end carton flap of the package, and have best by dates of 12/07/2019 lot code 8341, 01/04/2020 lot code 9004, 01/24/2020 lot code 9024, or 02/15/2020 lot code 9046 on the label.

The issue was discovered when Bellisio received complaints of glass or hard plastic material in the patty.

The products were shipped to retailers nationwide and to a Department of Defense facility in Tucson. A list of retailers who received the products was not available at the time of this writing.

So far no injuries or adverse reactions have been reported.
