A new page is being written for businesses around the city of Page and the new City Council.
During their first full meeting, the new city council presented a new type of award. One which Mayor Levi Tappan stated will be a theme for this council and will be his corner award for businesses who go above and beyond to maintain their physical environment as is identified in the Council’s strategic priorities.
The first recipient of this recognition was Big Lake Trading Post who is located at the corner of Coppermine Road and Highway 98; right in the heart of the Gateway Corridor.
Mayor Tappan stated the council, and he especially, were in awe of the company's efforts and success in improving, advancing, and beautifying their property with taking steps such as installing new gas pumps, placing attractive landscaping and signage, and especially installing the rock art which says "Welcome to Page".
During the recognition of the company's efforts, Mayor Tappan stated "I want to thank you for making a first great impression upon entering Page."
Thank you, and congratulations Big Lake Trading Post.
