This last week, as you may have noticed, LPNN was not out and about much or reporting much.
There is a reason for that.

This last week consisted of the final GISHWHES charity competition. If you don’t know what GISHWHES was/is, it stands for the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen, and is put on by Misha Collins, best known for his role as Castiel on Supernatural. The idea of the competition is to go out and promote or do random acts of kindness.

To our amazement, our little town had a group participating in this years’ antics, and invited LPNN to capture all of the shenanigans and charitable events that took place.
Sadly, part of the rules state that none of the content could be shared until the contest was over, and guess what! It’s over.
LPNN has some great photos and videos of everything that went on. The event took the group throughout Page, making strange requests through community Facebook pages, to Las Vegas, Nevada where the biggest event was the shredding and recycling of a full-size school bus. The group consisted of 15 people from Page, and each one seemed to have a blast.
LPNN Has been busy all week following our own local GISHWHES team #SchemeTeam.
This particular event was to paint up a bus and get it shredded. The local team found a place in Las Vegas Nevada, SA Recycling, who was not only willing but excited to be a part of the largest scavenger hunt in the world.
Here is a brief video showing the carnage.
LPNN Would like to thank SA Recycling of Las Vegas Nevada for the great time that was had by all. We will be posting up more updates as we get them ready so stay tuned!
