Independence Day DUI Enforcement Results

The official numbers for the Driving Under the Influence Enforcement / Education Campaign for the Independence Day holiday weekend are in. During the holiday weekend, the Page Police Department used a "City-Wide High Visibility / Saturation Patrol" to help minimize Driving under the influence, and to help ensure a higher level of safety for the community.

The new patrol car that is half taxi half police car, participated in the parade to help try and raise awareness. According to the Page Police Department, the official numbers for traffic stops during the campain between June 30-July 4th was 41.The rest is here for everyones information.

Designated Drivers Contacted: 4

Misdemeanor DUI arrests: 6

Extreme DUI Arrests (BAC over .15%): 3

Average BrAC: .172%

30 Day Impounds (28-3511): 4

Other Criminal Traffic Related Arrests: 3

Total Civil Traffic Citations issued: 14
