Independence Day Celebrations in Page
Tomorrow is Independence Day, and as is tradition in order to show your patriotism and celebrate the birth of the United States, there are celebrations that will be going on around town. These activities are being sponsored by the Chamber Page Lake Powell.
Come out and help celebrate the United States' 241st birthday, but remember that the heat is still upon us, so plan ahead: bring water, sunscreen, hats, etc. anything you need to help keep you cool! And if you can’t make any of these events, make sure you catch us live on Facebook @LakePowellNews.
See you all there!

LPNN would like to remind everyone that Coconino county is still under Stage 2 fire restrictions, and to be extra cautions when celebrating. Check out the Coconino County Stage 2 Fire Restrictions here. And check out the City of Page's Fireworks Ordinance here. If you are planning on celebrating within the Glen Canyon Recreational Area and/or the Rainbow Bridge National Monument, check out the National Park Service's fire restrictions here.
