Meetings & More Meetings

Just as a reminder to everyone, the City Council will be active tonight.

To start, there is a City Council Work Session tonight at 5:30 at City Hall, located at 697 Vista Ave. This work session is open for public attendance. There is only one item on the agenda to be discussed: improvements, funding, and ownership of the City property adjacent to Horseshoe Bend. Come on down if you can, and find out what the City Council has planned. The Work Session does not allow for public commentary. Any questions or concerns must be made during the Regular City Council meeting that takes place immediately after the Work Session tonight.

Then, there is a City Council regular meeting tonight at 6:30, right after the Work Session, at City Hall, located at 697 Vista Ave.

Reports by Board Liaisons

There will be an opportunity for public commentary during the Regular Council meeting. This gives an opportunity for the public to speak on items either on or off the meeting agenda. From the Page City Council about public commentary: Members of the public may address the City Council on matters that are not listed on the City Council agenda. The City Council cannot discuss or take legal action on any matters during the Call to the Public, unless the matters are properly noticed for discussion and legal action. At the conclusion of the Call to the Public, individual members of the Council may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the Council, may ask Staff to review a matter, or may ask that a matter be put on a future agenda. Citizens may also use Information Request Forms, which are available. All City Council meetings are recorded.

If you download the agenda packet for tonight's regular meeting, the items up for discussion, and discussion and possible action are attached; it is over 100 pages in length.

Tomorrow

Mark your calendars for tomorrow 6-29-17, as well. There is a Planning and Zoning meeting during which there will be a public hearing. The meeting will start at 5:30 at City Hall, located at 697 Vista Ave. This public hearing will cover the newly proposed changes to the lighting ordinance. Speak with Sue Kennedy at the City Offices today about getting a copy of the proposed lighting ordinance changes being discussed so you can ask questions during the hearing. This ordinance covers all lighting sources within the city-limits of Page, including commercial, residential, and holiday lights. So, get informed, and come down to the meeting and hearing so you can voice your concerns and questions.

You can download and/or view the public meeting notices and agendas at the City of Page website.
