Come out and help Banner Health Page Hospital celebrate their achievement in reaching the Planetree Bronze Tier. Planetree is not only an organization, but a foundation for patient care. There are three tiers: bronze, silver, and gold. Each tier represents different milestones met to ensure the best patient care possible; all which revolve around patient and family centered care. In normal speak, what this means is that as a patient, you are not seen as a number or a square peg with the hospital trying techniques that equate to a round hole that may or may not work for you. Treatment is individualized for you and your family. It’s a format where the whole patient is being treated rather than just a physical body; spiritual, mental, physical, and familial healing is addressed.
To be recognized by Planetree is a difficult feat, and the requirements are stringent. It is a complete change to the normal hospital experience one expects to encounter. It’s more personable, inviting, and individualized rather than the typical harsh, loud, and one size-fits all approach.
Come out and help Banner Health Page Hospital celebrate this milestone tonight at John C. Page Memorial Park from 6pm to 8pm. There will be food, drinks, music, a bounce house, a bounce house obstacle course, and Navajo Hoop Dancers, and a whole lot of fun.
LPNN will be covering the event, and will be finding out what this achievement truly means for both the Page Community and Banner Health Page Hospital. We will also be finding out what the next steps are for Banner Health Page Hospital.
