Arizona is on fire.
In response to the wildfires raging throughout Arizona, yesterday Governor Ducey declared a state of emergency in order to ensure those working to combat these fires have enough resources available to them until the new fiscal year begins on July 1.
Issuing this declaration allows for $200,000 of emergency funds to be made available for emergency services and asks that the State Emergency Council provide additional resources to the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management when requested/needed.
