The background to these changes, as stated on the City Of Page’s agenda for this meeting is:
“In February of 2016, the City Council authorized a professional services agreement with Michael Baker, International to provide expert zoning services to draft a new zoning code for the City of Page. In March of 2016, the City Council appointed the Zoning Code Task Force comprised of seven members of the public representing the viewpoint of various elements of the community to work with Staff and the zoning consultant to draft new zoning codes for the community. The Task Force has been meeting for approximately one year, to review, discuss and offer input on the new zoning code. The Task Force has completed a draft zoning ordinance and is now ready to bring the document forward to the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council for review”
According to the City of Page’s published agenda,
“[t]he purpose of this joint meeting is to bring some of the major code provisions forward for review and discussion. Matt Klyszeiko with Michael Baker, International will lead the presentation and discussion. Please see attached meeting topic agenda.”
